Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the wild west in a great game for early level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the croupier, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers wager with other players. By wagering against the dealer, beginning players don’t need to be concerned about other, more advanced players winning their cash.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game pace, rookies are able to take their time and strategize while not needing to make frenzied selections.

It’s also simpler to enjoy for a very long time with basically a little bit of money after all, to not win, each of your hands needs to be lower than both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is dealt seven cards face up and the house is dealt 7 cards face down.

One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand have to be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
