Caribbean Poker Rules and Tricks

[ English ]

Web poker has become globally famous recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years several variants on the first poker game have been developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with twenty-one than traditional poker, in that the gamblers wager against the dealer rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the croupier broadcasting "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course all of the different gamblers attain 5 cards each. After you have looked at your hand and the bank’s initial card, you need to in turn make a call bet or accede. The call wager’s amount is equal to your original bet, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your bet goes instantaneously to the house. After the bet comes the face off. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, plus a figure in accordance with the ante. If the house has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The bank pony’s up chips even with your ante and fixed expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
